So what happened with Johnny's technique, timing, footwork, shot selection etc? He got all that from steroids? I agree that it was suspicous how much of his power and athleticism disappeared as soon as USADA started testing, but it seems he declined as a fighter for other reasons too.

You can train more with steroids... less without them.

ya i believe gsp was clean, why take stuff and advocate to have stronger testing done because you believe the opponents your facing aren't fighting naturally. That was gsp's reasoning for wanting extra or olympic style testing, he didn't want to accuse or call out names but indicated many times that when facing his opponents he knew they were taking stuff and getting away with hit.

Also when gsp begged for his title shot, that was like 8 years prior to fighting hendricks....gsp was younger and more muscular back then due to his age, training style (he did more muscle work). His training totally changed as he got older and as you age it takes more effort to maintain your muscular structure.

Also gsp was kneeling down and had his shoulders shrugging upwards, its like flexing or pumping up your delts.

also what about guys like tyron woodley, or yoel romero, they are more musuclar than what gsp looked 8 years ago begging for a title shot and that is after usada has been implemented. Either guys like tyron and yoel are getting around the system with usada or they are clean just like gsp was way back and physically look in good shape....it's your call what you want to believe but I think gsp was clean all along, sure he took supplements but I do not believe he took ped's or roids like others have, because if your reasoning is what gsp looked liked back 8 years ago then by your reasoning you have to call out tyron and yoel and many others who are even more muscular than gsp was 8 years ago.

My question is why did Johny decide to retire to fight in this event? Was it his choice or was the UFC going to cut him? The UFC was paying him real good to get his ass kicked.
