this might sound kinda out there, but i believe we have sealed our fate by inventing the nuclear bomb, and not for the reasons people think. since inventing nuclear weapons there has been no major wars fought (wars with massive casualties) like the napoleonic wars, ww1 and ww2. i believe that wars are humans natural control mechanism for over population. wars cull large numbers of the population and create massive amounts of employment. both world wars were preceded by depressions that were only solved when they killed heaps of people and destroyed vast areas of human habitation. the concept that we should all just get along and everything would be great, is the biggest load of crap ever. i would like to see one thousand people with one loaf of bread getting along.

Broken window fallacy.

Interesting thinking
there is the other alternative to evolve more and learn to reduce the ever expanding human plague by more intellectual methods like birth control. seem unlikely though, given the nature of the beast. the answer in the past was always to colonise (conquer) less developed countries, and say we were saving the natives from themselves. we have run out of nations to conquer so it will be interesting to see the preposed solution. i think mars is a long way off.

“War is the hygiene of the World.” You aren’t the first to have this thought, young man.

please reply with logic or backing arguments. just saying no without any reason shows you can't really justify your response.

In short, the broken window fallacy as applied to war says that the resources that are spent on war are lost resources because they could have been applied to other industries.

I assume that he's challenging your assertion that war is a good way to control population sizes and that, similar to the broken window fallacy, you're ignoring that one of the negative effects of war is that it probably directed energy and efforts away from other population management/sustainability solutions.

I would like to get @N13 thoughts on this

Oh, man! Don't get me started.

Humans don't kill humans, "vampires" kill humans.

Sorry man, that is the best I can do right now in one post. Remember to synchronize your clocks, the Age of Aquarius begins tonight.

Since the vampire worms lack creativity and can't make anything new on their own, they have to wait until a human invents it so they can then steal it for their own purposes.

Please go to the OT if anyone has questions or needs answers. I got a lot of red pills.

If you are not sufficiently spooked by now, you will be soon. Phase 2 of the Apocalypse of Light begins tomorrow.

it certainly isn't a popular one though. a lot of people think that if we all hold hands, sing songs, make daisy chains and EAT TOFU the world would be just fine and our population could keep expanding without any problems. (its the tofu, it grows on nothing but self righteousness and positive vibes).
maybe i should be supporting the rainbows, with enough rainbows it might have an affect on the worlds population. i doubt it though, the loons all think they have a right to breed test tube babies.

never happens. they don't invest in such things even when they are not fighting wars. what world do you live in. it must be nice.

...reduce the ever expanding human plague by more intellectual methods like birth control...
Most humans think more highly of themselves, and their children, than of plagues. There is an enormous amount of land in the US that isn't overpopulated yet.

What never happens? The growth of agricultural yields as a result of investment and technological innovation never happened?

don't get ya meaning. are you saying there were no depressions before the wars or that the world isn't over populating.

He's saying death and destruction don't promote economic growth.... that's what's informative about the phrase.

I don't get what point OP is trying to make here.

Have you ever been outside of Alabama Roy?
Different people aren't that difficult to get along with unless you are an asshole it works by itself.
