Everyone wants to punch Sean O'Malley in the face

Oh, I do.

Oh this thread isn't about signing up for it. Ok. Uhm...

Yeah those fighters see an opportunity to make their name bigger of a growing name in O'malley. I personally don't think he's the big todo and maybe some of these fighters don't either and see an easier paycheck and name recognition. Stamann or Elliott are my votes.

This is the problem when the UFC protects guys like this. They can keep trying to manipulate easy matches for Sean until he gets that win streak they want, but when happens when top of the division comes calling and he’s not forged through fire?

The matchmakers are beginning to lose their power of manipulation here the bigger he gets, if everyone is chomping at the bit to fight him and they pull some scrub outta of their hat to fight saying “this was the only guy ready!” How’s that look to al lthise guys who threw their hat in.

There is something odd about the guys he keeps fighting, but I cant put my fingers on it.

The red panty night anyone reasonable in the division can make a case for!

No way they let giga or merab fight him, they will get an easy opponent or bring a dwcs reject

I think Brian Kelleher or Tim Elliot are probably the most realistic options, Sean haters may want to see Simon or Merab in there to wrestlefuck him to death but that's not fair to Sean on short notice given how different their styles are compared to what he's trained for.
Someone talking with some sense I see. ^^^

I mean fundamentally they just want to fight him because they want to ride his coattails popularity wise. I'm not an O'Malley fan myself but I have noticed that he does have a significant market/following. Marlon Vera gained a significant following from beating O'Malley himself, and even an immediate fight against Jose Aldo, which he lost, but which he probably shouldn't have gotten after losing to Song Yadong. Whoever is the lucky guy who gets the fight has a massive chance to increase his public profile and probably get a fight that he doesn't deserve.

Tim Elliot makes some sense because he's a flyweight so cutting to bantamweight is easier for him. But he's a grappler so...they may not want to go that route. Kelleher has a fight booked even close in proximity than Merab so I don't know about that one. I'm sure they could go the easy route as well and find a significantly weaker fighter.

Tim Elliot would destroy O Malley at any weight class.
I don't think so. I like Tim but he is slow and I don't think he gets it to the ground enough times before he gets knocked out.
It's a fun scrap though.

KO VIA GIGA KICK

I want to see him run it back with Chito. We know what happens when O Malley gets a freak injury but I'd like to see them in a real fight.
