I'm not convinced she was saved by the bell. It's harder to win a round where you get knocked silly, in my opinion.

The scoring system is based around damage...., and as I said, I had her winning even before the knockdown. Claudia was stalking, but not landing much before that.

Carla won the first 3 minutes of the round in my mind and did the most damage.

She made her do the stanky leg.. takedowns fallowed by nothing don't trump that.

The scoring of a round has a strong emphasis on clean effective striking, and Carla did this when she hurt her with that punch in the 1st.

Unfortunately, even though that's supposed to be the main thing judges look to, that rarely happens, and the person who spends most of the round on top usually wins.

I missed the fight, but if Claudia won rounds just by getting takedowns, but took more damage, then she probably shoulda lost.
