I'd like to make a list of every violation that USADA has made since it started. Information will include the fighter, whether or not the banned substance has been disclosed, the start of the suspension, & the term of the suspension. This is mainly to keep an update on the violations that have happened & I would like to keep it updated as more come.

11/11/15 - Mirko Cro Cop
Banned Substance: Human Growth Hormones
Suspension: 2 Years

12/04/15 & 12/23/15 - Gleison Tibau
Banned Substance: Erythropoietin
Suspension: 2 Years

01/02/16 - Abdul Kerim Edilov

Suspension: Likely 2 Years

My research consisted of me Kenny Florianing articles on USADA. If I missed someone, let me know. If you have an answer for my question marks, let me know. If there is better information that I can put in this list, let me know. I put this list up because I have not seen any threads on Sherdog that has a list of all the violations given out by USADA. If someone can make a better & more informative list than mine, all the power to you.

*Edit - So I guess BJ told USADA about himself getting an IV previously and he was unaware it was banned the entire year. After his full cooperation with USADA, his sentence was reduced to 6 months. Seems USADA is lenient if you tell them what you took beforehand... :p

Might as well change the name to the UCC, Ultimate Cheating Championship.

He was still retired at the time, but took one during a BJJ competition, which was perfectly legal. But then when he un-retired, he failed the test for it. I think they gave him a light sentence because it was more of an honest mistake.

Since BJ got 6 months, is that the punishment for IV? Since it is no drug found In the system you would think the suspension is shorter?
 
I wanna see USADA in a major sport like NFL, NBA or MLB.

+edit just realized Machida got caught two weeks after his 38th birthday.

Happy belated birthday bro, have two years vacation.

You can buy 7-Keto DHEA over the counter. Which mean it does not work and being a banned substance is ridiculous
 
And more or less everyone else fighting in the ufc is on something as well. They just haven't been caught yet.

I have no idea how it works, but In the US you can or at least could even get ephedrine over the counter. They have a completely different view on steroids than the rest of the world. All these substances Are forbidden In the most of europe. DHEA was very popular some years ago, since even if it was stopped by customs, you didnt get punished. Now you go to jail if you order it over the internet.

you should also add in overeem and josh barnett. even if they weren't caught by usada, it still shows what current ufc fighters have done.
 
BJ got a short sentence, because it was an honest mistake and he came forward with the information about the i.v.

UCC was the fighting organization GSP, Coté, l'Oiseau sam stout started fighting it was an awesome place where knees on the ground was legal...good times
