Even at almost 80, Michael Buffer sounds 100x better than Bruce

Sherdog is the only MMA entity on earth that doesn't like Buffer, he is amazing at his job.

He was fine until he started getting in fighters faces, being buddy buddy fist bumping, and all that crap. He needs to stay in his place. It bugs the shit out of me when the camera is panned squarely on the fighter at close range and yet Buffer is still injecting his ass into the shot.

Bruce isnt riding off anyone's coattails. His brother got him a job,which is what family does. Michael Buffer's voice is natural, Bruce doesnt have that. There is nothing he can do to make it sound like that so....Bruce rightfully doesnt try to do what Michael does. He's got his own thing going on. He makes up for the difference with unbridled enthusiasm and the crowd obviously loves him,so they aint never gonna get rid of him because they dont want him gone. He whips that crowd up into a murderous frenzy,and that is a great talent to have. Thats something Michael couldnt do as well as Bruce.


Joe Martinez is a very capable ring announcer,but hes just a normal announcer. He hasnt got the chutzpah, he doesnt inspire me to raise my machete in the air. For the big nights,for the main events...ya gots ta have the Buff,or just cancel the fuckin event.
