Mabby im bias ok fair enough, however I never said I supported his body building days because im not a body builder and im not into that, however as a fighter i support him 100% and not only because he is part of the Purbred family, but because I know he has a lot of heart, and i am calling a spade a spade. Baroni is a great fighter and if you want to judge his fighting ability on somthing he did years ago go ahead, but im not going to jump on your guys "make fun of phil" bandwagon just because i might end up looking uncool to a bunch of people on the internet, i'll stand up for what i believe in, even if im standing alone.

funny i have never seen a pro in any other sport make fun of it's fans even when they did cheer for the other team.

I like Lindland as a fighter, he has been working on finishing and on the stand up, you can see him pushing the action in his fight vs. Niko, he even threw a high kick. Your boy Baroni will never be in the same level as Lindland, If you want to see muscular dudes with bad techniques and "exciting" fights then go watch WWE, hell Baroni even attacks the referee like in prowrestling. Nobody wants you here. I

We should all be grateful that fighters come on these forums at all, regardless of whether or not you're a fan of that particular fighter. They have busy schedules and are taking time out to talk with us -- how many other sports does that happen in? We are lucky to have them here - the least you could do is be polite. Do you see me jump on any thread Baroni starts on the UG and bash on him? No. If you and I want to talk shit to each other, that's one thing - but fighters deserve a level of respect above that.

Look, no one doubts that Lindland is a great fighter. He has a ton of skill, and was probably the best in that division, except for Busta, at one time. But there is absolutely no way to market someone who looks like him. It's just not the typical American hero. And I'm not saying you have to be the most ripped up, good looking guy in the world, but you must have some kind of appeal. Lindland's ONLY appeal, is his exceptional wrestling skills. He is a fantastic wrestler, no doubt, but until he changes his look in some way, he simply cannot be marketed in a manner that is conducive to his career. No offense Matt, but I am sure your manager has already told you this. America will not back a fighter who has a different look than what they are used to. And I know some of you will say, "what about Randy, lots of people back Randy?" but I think we all know Randy is different. First, Randy is ripped to shreds, second, he is extremely exciting to watch, and third, he is 40 something and beat probably two of the most popular fighters in the World in Tito and Chuck. Plus Randy has style, and charisma, and last, you would never see Randy posting Gay videos on an internet forum because he is so bored and no major organizations want him on their main card.
