When Bareman goes off on one of his ridiculous tirades against DDP or Whittaker, it is worth remembering that these guys would have absolutely murdered him when he was a professional fighter himself.

This says nothing about his qualities as a trainer but it does say something about his qualities as a person.

My point is that Eugene has taken a consistently reduced role in Alex’s career. At first it was full-on Head Cornerman type of stuff, but Alex has somewhat detached himself from that. He isn’t as much of a product of CKB as Hooker or Izzy (in my opinion).

Volk's coach sees himself as part of CKB and being a product of his gym to be no different from being a product of CKB.....

Alex was carrying that arm injury int the Yair fight - had to be pumped up on cortisol to even move his arm. For the both of those guys to keep their crazy schedules they have fought injured. That's the standard Bareman sets for his. When is the last time a CKB guy ever pulled out from a fight due to injury or didn't make weight? They are simply holding DDP to the same standard.
