Given the japanese sumo association and the TV feeds aversion to adjust even slightly for foreign audiences, it might be an advantage.

i think if he has another "bleeding finger" this year, he's going to hear from the JSA.
they're not kicking him out soon, but he's probably going to start to hear from them if this goes on.
Teru was allowed years of not competing because nobody stepped up.
Now now we have 2 yokozuna, one terrible ozeki, probably two more on the way (Kirishima and Aonishiki), so it's sort of stabilized.

come on nephew. you're easily yokozuna material. get your head in the game, man.

yeah they're always two days late. it's a very puzzling strategy, instead of streaming it on youtube or wherever, cause you know people would watch, they don't bother with foreign fans almost at all.

they actively shut down foreign fans from my experience. i've seen several channels ran by foreigners get shut down multiple times because they record the matches and put them up on youtube.

Wakatakakage doing an utchari using that busted leg of his was amazing.
Also probably one of the best bouts of the basho was Oshoma with Kotozakura, non-stop action for almost half a minute.

Hakuoho somehow made it look easy against Onosato. I think our Yokozuna miscalculated the frontal pushing type of sumo Hakuoho uses. made the race interesting.

We got 4 with only one loss - Kirishima, Tamawashi, Ichiyamamoto and the newcomer Kusano.
