UFC has nothing to gain from promoting old fighters no longer on the roster, so they likely ain't doing that.

I canceled ESPN+ already since no foreseeable live UFC content. Maybe I'll turn Disney+ back on and watch Clone Wars.

I saw a report saying the Kevin vs Charles Fight Night only had like 570k viewers. I was expecting huge numbers considering no other live sports.

UFC doesn't seem to be doing anything useful with the PRIDE FC library. I used to like the Spike TV PRIDE re-run show.

The idea of paying in perpetuity for something like that isn't appealing to me as someone who used to buy PRIDE FC DVDs on release date... if I could find them if the stores put them out on the salesfloor.

It is weird isn't it? I'm surprised to find all the sneering posts at this news. But one of the nice things about this sport is that it can stand rewatching, much more easily than a lot of others. Which is why - along with it being new to much of its usual audience - that ESPN can turn to it to fill their awkward gaps. And that's a good thing, no matter how blasé you are.

When I had fight pass, they had gone back an given each card a listed "fight of the night"

So I started w 1 and watched them in order. Lots of gems I hadn't seen in years, particularly Maurice Smith vs Mark Coleman and Frank vs. Tito.

Hopefully they show more than just the most recent classics
