Who else would the opponent be but Aspinall? And saying there isn't a date yet implies that Aspinall is ducking him by not agreeing to the rematch yet.

He could have just posted "Grinding and training hard before the holidays with my man @bambamtuivasa" since there was kind of no reason whatsoever to say "No date or opponent yet" except to throw some thinly veiled shade.

The post wasn't necessarily thinly veiled shade. None of us know how long Tom will be out for, what if the UFC decides to make Ciryl vs someone for the interim while Tom is out?
