Media ESPN disrespects Dustin Poirier once again.

Well, Dustin is not mainstream and he hasn't been a unified world champion so it's only normal that media try to introduce him to their audience as someone McGregor beatup live before.
Or not. Or not. That's not "only natural". It's only bad practice, yes. Disrespectful practice, yes.

I swear every year the human ability to think and consider things deteriorates further and further.

Lol Conor was on Stephen A's personal show?

Lmao Rogan and Luke Thomas have to be fuming
Rogan is possibly on the same level of popularity as Stephen A, but Luke is nowhere near. If Conor went on a show with a viewership comparable to Morning Kombat then I can see Luke being upset but he simply can't compete with Stephen A Smith in terms of popularity and is likely aware of that.

i think that's more the point though. this isn't some news story or promotional story. it's stephen a......it's only going to be as deep as his personal knowledge and agenda. i wouldn't attribute it to the broad "espn".
Only attributing to espn because they show a history of doing this. Most of their mainstream pundits aren't MMA fans.

Which I don't harp on to much but they should have guys that last attention to this stuff the way they do other make sports. They hire researchers just to brief these guys on their shows

This fcuking dog turd again!

I've managed to keep my psyche crystal clear over the past year by completely avoiding any thoughts of this worthless douchebag but somehow whenever a Conor event is afoot, ESPN aka hack central, doggedly vomits this cretin back into my realm of consciousness, effectively polluting my chakras

Dustin is in his goddamn prime and this should be a helluva fight. Rooting for dustin so he gets the hespec he deserves.

I just can’t believe people are sleeping on Poirier this much. When I imagine this fight in my head, I always see Dustin beating Conor up similar to how he broke down Joe Duffy.
Hopefully I’m wrong though, I’d like to see McGregor get a top ranked win. It’s been a while.
I have to seriously question your judgement if that's the case.

DP forces guys into close quarter firefights coz he's confident in his power and gas tank, he figures they will eventually wilt and he will out heart them, that won't work against Conor, he's far too accurate, Dustin's pressure will be met with hard counter after counter until he's too gunshy to even move forward, then Conor will back him up and pick him apart, 1st round KO.

Steven A sucks serious ass but I’ll always love how he owned the entire mma community over his assessment of Cerrone after his fight with Conor. Great stuff.

Reading these posts its just hilarious, most of you fucks were stating the Poirier would beat Conor since 2018 as he improved more...is better at 155 etc blah blah. Now that the fight is on you fools are all putting Dustin's chances to bed...I like both fighters, I favor Conor...but Dustin can definitely win this...don't be surprised if he manages to TKO Conor.

Tony or Charles...

Come on, this is hater talk.

Tony is old and just got wrecked twice in a row, McGregor critics would have been all over him if he picked Tony.

Charles is still on the verge of being an elite guy, old Tony and hot and cold Kevin Lee are the only good wins on his recent streak, I think Gaethje will starch him.

Dustin is the toughest and top ranked guy in the division and he's coming off a win.

Not raging. Just making discussion material. We pretty much know and accept stephen a or espn in general doesn't know a damn thing about the ufc or mma lol
On top of that he's just a shrill spastic moron in general hahaaa . Its like if chael never fought and had a higher pitched voice

I know Stephen A gets a lot of well deserved hate but I actually thought his interview with Dustin was better than anything at the press conference.

He was saying to Dustin like ‘tell the casuals who you are’ which is fair enough. He also tried to get a bit of needle into it with the questions about Dustin being an underdog etc rather than the wet shit about fatherhood blah blah that everyone came with a the presser.

If you don't like how you're introduced go and KO McGregor that will shut everybody up, I dunno why he is crying over twitter before a fight. I like Dustin but damn son you're acting like a guy thats there to lose.

lol at people making excuses for ESPN not doing 2 seconds of research
FUCK ESPN. Porier is correct.

Did they forget that Conor does h

I like how MMA fans are ready to drop trow and bend over whenever some mainstream company disrespects MMA. Maybe this is what we do deserve, if thats the way people want to take it.
