    what in the fuck?

    there was a good 3 seconds at least where he had a window to slide his right arm around the head and get it between himself and Perez, but instead he just left it there and let Perez choke him.

    Maybe he thought the cage would save him? I dont see why he would leave his arm there otherwise.

    espinosa s submission defense is just terrible needs to improve that he looked good in the striking exchanges

    He was focused on keeping half guard. I don't think he felt like he could be choked out as long as he held that position. Also, it was more of a modified Von Flue choke that got him than it was an arm triangle.
