We don't need refugees from anywhere unless somehow they can earn their keep.

I don't bust my ass everyday to make ends meet so someone who hasn't put in a dime can come here & benefit from my hard work. We have enough of that already from all the welfare losers.

Anyone who wants to adopt refugees is more than welcome, but for people to give them the right to live off of our hard earned tax money is complete bullshit.

We have enough problems to worry about here at home. We can't manage to properly take care of our own population. We can't afford to add more dependents.

At some point people have to sort out their own problems. And I understand that's easier said than done for some people. Life isn't fair. We can't make everyone's unfair life our responsibility.

I had a kenyan roommate and he said they were all from the same village. (village could mean millions of people to him). He also said almost nobody cares about distance running and the most popular sports are soccer, field hockey, and bike trail racing.

Well I think they are well represented in the track and field events in world championships and the olympics. I know lots of us distance runners have headed to Kenya to train as well.

I think you could also say nobody cares about distance running while talking about pretty much every country...

I agree with him 100%. we can't help everybody and you can't keep singing citizens who are working their assets off to make it by to do so.

Worked with quite a lot of Eritreans over the past few years in the UK.

Mostly its been a positive experience. The ones I met tended to be nice guys, very polite and hard working.

On the shop floor we had something like 32 different nationalities. Eritreans in general seem to have a positive attitude to work and not make trouble.

Somalians were the opposite. Rude and aggressive with a chip on their shoulders and trying to work with Roma gypsies from eastern Europe is like trying to herd cats.

One thing I noticed about Eritreans is they are all manlets and they have this malted sort of drink which is like natural viagra.

They are ok in my book.

I know this is just a joke, but the apartment block I grew up in was full of Ethiopians, so I have tried their food. Dont remember the name of the dish but my friends mother used to always make it. Like a lamb stew with Ethiopian bread. So damn good.
