Over the winner of Rose and Fiorot? What do you guys think?
Blanchfield looked like crap on her feet. Santos was comfortably winning the fight until she unnecessarily attempted that takedown in the second and ended up on the bottom. Blanchfield didn't do shit. She won by wall and stall. I don't think she earned herself a title shot after that performance.
But did you miss the part where she WON all of those fights?Manon should never have been no.1 with her only good win coming from beating Walmart Holly Holm, in a boring 15 minute point kick boxing fight.
Rose is also shit, definitely the worst modern champion we’ve had and she’s not even a 125er.

Santos shouldn't have attempted that takedown, because she was easily winning on her feet, but it was sheer luck on Erin's side what changed the outcome of the fight. Go rewatch the takedown attempt. Erin rebounded against the fence when Santos was successfully taking her down and landed on top. Santos, who was returning from injury and hadn't fought in 14 months, gassed out getting back up. It was a different fight after that. If Santos hadn't attempted that takedown, she would have probably won with ease. And she wasn't dropped in the third. It was failed takedown attempt. You forgot the part where Erin was taking over the striking and dropped Santos in rd 3

Sounds like Erin got lucky. She was actually getting taken down (something she couldn't accomplish in 14 attempts), rebounded against the fence and was fortunate to land on top.Sounds like Talia made mistakes and Erin capitalized. Such is the game

It all hinges on Rose. If she wins in Paris she'll almost certainly get the next shot, unless her fight with Fiorot somehow ends up looking like her last fight with Esparza.
