Am I missing something here? Anyone else catch that?:icon_lol:
Just the UFC making shit up. Remember when Hendricks had the most TDs in WW history even thought GSP has like three times more? Remember when Vitor was a HW champ at only 19 years old and Jones was the youngest UFC champ ever at 24?
just like Herman undefeated in 5 of his last 6. He is 2-2-0 with 1NC
Should be 8 wins in his last 10, which is still pretty impressive.
Uh..Jones was the youngest champion.
Remember when matt hamill had more lhw wins than tito ortiz? Gg
They marketed Vitor as a HW champ, he won the HW tourney when he was 19. Then they say that Jones was the youngest champ at 24. Shouldn't Vitor be the youngest champ then since he was 19 and they market him as a former HW champ?
Just realized : Fitch fight.
I think they meant 9 finishes in his past 10 wins
He's 3-3 in last 6.
Vitor was never marketed as a heavyweight champ, he's been marketed as a light heavyweight champ as he had the cut eye-lid victory over Couture.
You realize there was a heavyweight title fight on the card Vitor won his tournament in, right?
I don't recall them ever calling Vitor a heavyweight champ, but he had been referred to as a tournament winner early in his career.
Vitor won a tournament. He didn't hold an actual belt until he "beat" Couture, and Jones was 23 when he beat Shogun.
They never have, but Vitor claimed that he was the "real" youngest champ in the pre-fight interviews for UFC 152, and a bunch of idiots started parroting him.
Vitor's strap is from early UFC: open weight.
The UFC doesn't let facts get in the way of fight hype.
