Beast. I want fighters like that in the UFC. Not some blankets or leg humpers.

Except he didn;t even end up past the dude's guard...
 
Wouldn't work in the UFC


A) A backflip to sidemount wouldn't work against someone with any decent level grappling

B) You could risk getting DQ'd if your foot lands anywhere near your opponents head.

Entertaining but ultimately stupid. It didn't look like he got over the knee but maybe he did end up in side control. Could you imagine what a landed upkick could have done to him with all of that momentum. Very dangerous but like I said really entertaining.
 
If you're going to go for an over the guard style guard pass, just do a regular old cartwheel pass. It's actually more effective.

He did for a moment. I mean, we didn't see him settle in, but if it makes you feel better, OP can call it an epic guard pass attempt. Give the guy some credit for the attempt at least.

He has much to learn from the guy in that vid I posted. He is doing it wrong, the same as Mendes.
He is going straight for the north south position instead of guard passing lol.
But I give him credit, at least he is trying and is entertaining :)
 
He'll probably go 0-2 if he gets signed.
