Not as much as Lopez is the nightmare for him, I think styles make fights, and when you have two highly offensive fighters who can counterpunch who’s best defense is coming forward and exchanging, its gonna be the superior offense that takes it and that’s Lopez. Lopez WANTS opponents like Boots, Jaron wants to exchange and gets smacked around coming in by guys like Karen and Avanesyan, Lopez already has some world level, best-of-the-best scalps on his resume and even against spoilers like Martin and Ortiz he showed he can lunge in and totally overreach from outside completely forcing exchanges on stingy opponents if necessary and still win the exchanges convincingly, so damn athletic,… but Lopez ultimately shines like the sun when his guy actually wants to exchange and that will be boots. Speaking of spoilers, Boots has struggled with the same type of opposition, fighters disengaging who try and frustrate and only fight backing up, so he possesses the same weaknesses. Doesn’t bode well for a fighter who hasn’t risen in his level of competition in 5 years.
