English Muffins are a staple here in Canada

We call them crumpets, muffins are something different entirely.

Chese English Muffins are M"fuckin best!!

I looked at the thread title, and clicked not knowing what I was getting into. But I knew one way or the other I may end up hungry.

I was correct. Now hungry.

I'm British and it has never registered with me that we use the same term for two different things.

If I were eating an English muffin, I would almost exclusively be in Maccy D's or eating eggs Benny.

If I hear somebody say muffin, I would assume they were talking about American style sweet muffins.

I eat whole wheat english muffins with peanut butter and sugar free jam every morning for breakfast

English muffins are actually great.....I'm just happy you're not raving about the "Full English Breakfast". Holy crap. It's the nostalgic equivalent of Jollibee fried chicken..
