End of the World...

i still believe the UFC will be dominated by Blacks and Brazilians

I respect their achievements, but for some reason I always root against the Noguieras.

I was convinced Diego was going to beat BJ, and put $100 on him.

When I roll or spar, I sometimes dream that I'll be a UFC fighter.

Confessions:

Not a fan of the any fighters from Blackhouse.

Thinks Jon Jones deserves to be KO'd.

Vitor promised me a bunch of DVDs but failed to give them to me, was pissed the day off but got over it.

I want to own Dan Henderson's fake teeth.

Also everyone from Alpha annoys me and am not a fan of any of them. Chad Mendes is winning me over though.

I sometimes fantasize about watching featherweights and below fighting Heavyweights and Light Heavyweights.

If I'm in a particuarley bad mood, the referee is a bit distracted and the winner (which is obviously the hw/lhw) gets in about 6 more shots than he should.

and the poor little guy is taken out on a stretcher, still in the middle of a violent seizure.

Just kidding. What kind of monster do you think I am?

. Really my biggest "mma confession" would probably be that I was 90% sure that Brock Lesnar was going to beat Cain Velasquez.

I mean let me put it this way: I was as sure Lesnar was going to beat Cain as people are than Jones is going to beat Sonnen....

To me, on paper, it just made perfect sense. Lesnar was bigger, stronger, way more powerful, a better wrestler (or so I thought), much better chin, and his cardio was great.

Cain was smaller, weaker, had almost no power (based on the kongo fight---I thought the Nog fight was because of Nog's weakened chin) inferior wrestling (or so i thought), weak chin (again based on the kongo fight) and thus the only possible advantage he would have is cardio, thus I predicted his only hope of winning was to drag it into round 4 and 5.

The #1 problem with my prediction (if you're fairly break down both fighters careers up to that point) was that I assumed Lesnar's reaction to Carwin's strikes was solely due to his amazing power (which had finished 12 previous opponents in the 1st round, so it's not a huge stretch of the imagination)

I had no idea that cain could do the same thing with much less power. I also completely underestimated Cain's takedown defense (also overestimating Lesnar takedown ability)

but really this isn't exactly a confession because I did make multiple prediction threads before the fight.

I use to DESPISE the Diaz brothers back in the day, mainly because I bought into the gangster'y stuff and fans defended Nicks losses too much.

Now they are two of my favourite fighters, because I realised it's pretty dumb to let fanbases effect your enjoyment of great fighters.

Conversely I find it difficult to enjoy Jon Jones fights because of the fanbase that regard him as literally undefeatable, but I'm working on it.

I love underdogs.

Also, I like girls with pointy elbows...There, I said it.

Great thread by the way TS. Too many good ones to quote but peeps brought the lulz. The serious confessions and the not so serious ones. Good shit.
In my opinion

After the Chuck KO, I hated Rashad Evans and rooted against him until the Tito fight.

I'll ALWAYS root against GSP and Jones.

GSP because I don't consider what he does fighting and Jones because he's fake

I used to NOT root for BJ Penn before, like actually hoping he would lose, all because of the hype about UFC 94 and so, then afterwards I saw some of his interviews and his demeanor and I actually really liked him when he wasn't fighting GSP.

Nowadays I still like BJ a lot and tend to root for him, but I feel like a fake fan (being GSP's fan), even though it's an honest feeling.

I like:
GSP, Koscheck, Fitch, Condit and Gray Maynard.

I've only been watching since ufc 132.

Including my wins, I have lost 200$ on MMA betting..
I only recently started watching the Pride events from start to finish, until now I had no idea who this Sakuraba or Fedor fella was.
I change my opinion on fighters as often as every other Shertard. One impressive win and he recieves god status in my book, until he loses again. Im that guy.

i used to like jon jones

I got mad, I looked at your AV and for some reason lost my train of thought...

Seriously though, all is forgiven, I rooted for him until the Hamill fight
