What evidence? You mean after like 48 hours the cops want to talk to "potential persons of interest" who happen to be walking in the general area in a grainy photo?

If they catch some guy and it turns out they actually did this, then I'll apologize. That' more than anyone who has been thoroughly castigating trump supporters for this "crime" will do if the police eventually write it off as a hoax. Also, if they do catch folks who did anything like what he's claiming, then I hope they nail those guys to the wall. But so far there's nothing at all despite the Chicago PD logging hundreds of hours trying to find evidence to support his claims, and it doesn't pass the smell test.

There isn't any evidence that proves his claim either.

He's a famous, rich TV star, what would be his motivation for staging a hoax? Using basic logic is the easiest way to get to the truth of any matter.

NY Daily News is reporting that they have the suspects involved in the assault on video. Not the actual beating, but 2 people that they are looking for. This is the only place that I have seen this claim being made.

Chicago police said late Wednesday that detectives have found video footage of suspects who allegedly attacked “Empire” star Jussie Smollett.
