Somehow missed this fight being on this weekend, being a fan of Ben Saunders I'll be pulling for him but I don't know, I'm thinking Ellenberger hits first and harder

Could be a loser leaves town

Ellenberger 2-7 recently, 5 of which were stoppages. The last one a flatliner from Perry
Saunders 5-3 since rejoining the UFC, 3 losses were t/ko's

Both guys have dropped punch resistance in recent years, Saunders gets into the 2nd round more but Ellenberger has been put away by some true studs (Lawler, Rory, Gastellum, Wonderboy)

saunders is the wildcard here. he had a great fight with court mcgee and put on a hell of a performance. he followed that with being finished by sobbotta and jouban. no slouches, but getting finished the way he did in both draws concerns for his durability. he hangs his hat on being durable and if that is gone, he'll be hit or miss.

ellenberger was an absolute terror for many years, then usada came and his performances dropped quickly.

even coming off two consecutive knock out losses, ellenberger seems to have found his footing. the masvidal TKO was strange due to ellenberger's toe getting caught in the cage. he was beating perry until the elbow from hell put him out.

if the ellenberger that fought perry shows up, i see him finishing saunders. that would be my prediction, but if saunders finds his durability, i could see him weathering ellenberger's storm and little by little taking over the fight.

I am not sure whose fight it is to loose.
Their both really good fighters.
I like both of them so I could care less.
Irregardless, it'll be a good fight.
I wish they could of fought a couple of years ago. To bad.
