How do you know she was lying when claiming to be part Indian? It was a family story and children tend to believe what their parents tell them.

Look at her.

She’s as bad as talcum x.

Honestly, you’re ok with her attempt to game they system?

I fucked up my knee doing bjj, would you be ok with me checking that disability box, even though I can work?

Yet she’s a hero to you folks???
You keep talking about gaming the system, if she believed her families story about her heritage she would not be gaming the system.

People with small % of Indian blood look white.

I’m aware. They should also realize that perhaps that opportunity belongs to someone else.

If I had 1 black family member 4 generations ago, should I really go out and pursue opportunities meant for black people?

SHE DIDN'T GAIN ANYTHING. Unlike actual dirt bags like, say, Trump (who gained million from scamming desperate shit-tier students, discriminating against black renters, screwing over shareholders, and openly lying to his supporters by saying he's going to hike taxes on himself and cut theirs and then cuts his own and hikes theirs), Rick Scott (who stole from the Florida taxpayers multiple times through his medicare and food stamps policies while failing to disclose conflicts), Mitch McConnell (who gained millions in dark money while devoting his legal career to destroying campaign finance transparency), and countless other figures (mostly in the GOP) who have done things that are actually sleazy, who actually openly lie to the public about the effects of their legislation, and who actually undermine the democratic process by constantly betraying political norms like they did with the AHCA and tax bill.

The fact that you delusionally hold on to this anecdote as some referendum on her character is pathetic. Meanwhile, you praise figures with actual cases of moral turpitude and completely unmerited policies.

Funding was the wrong word, opportunity is what she took.

Progressivism just doesn’t work in today’s world. We live in a time where you can simply move your buisiness to a country with lower taxes and ship items back into the country.
what exactly has she gained by it. Other than being listed on a college directory I haven't been able to find anything that reflected more than anecdotal stories by her. The college listed her by the way, I've never seen her list it on anything as far as an application or whatever. I've seen it so often. My own wife's family had a hillarious incident. When I first met her she told me her father's family was German and her mother's Hungarian. They did some genealogy thing for her brother for Christmas and everything came back 100% German, they confronted the grandmother about it and she got nasty about it that "we're Hungarian, I make Hungarian foods and, and and" So my wife actually calls the people up the day after Christmas complaining they made a mistake. Come to find out these people had records about some German dude that was traveling the German countryside and villages pretending to be a Hungarian Count or Duke or something like that. Anyway, the story comes out and it turns out great great grandma skanked it up with "Count Von Hide Der Wiener" and had a little bastard, basically telling the family from that point on how they were Hungarians. Warrens family told a similar story, she related it in a cook book and while some of the statements about "high cheek bones" are kind of cringe worthy and not something I'd condone but to use it to dismiss her all together seems pretty deflective at best. Also I'm not even a fan of hers.

Ready to be surprised?

I hate that Turkey looking motherfucker McConnell.

I have no idea how rick Scott won an election.

Republicans under obama were just as shitty and embarrassing as democrats are now.

Character worship is not what drives my political choices. Truthfully, my vote is basically what direction should the country move in. In 16 the left went too far left. My expectations of politicians following through on promises is practically non existent.

Long story short, I believe in a very, very simple principle. Nothing in life is free. That is fundamentally opposed to the progressive vision.

And Warren got nothing for free, you should come up with a new reason to hate her because this one is simply idiotic,.

You're getting lazy.

Honestly, it’s a busy day.

Simply stated, I fundamentally disagree with the progressive vision. Hell, Obama’s looking like freaking Reagan compared to the current leaders of the left.

Even if Warren lied decades ago about her heritage, what kind of self-righteous douche acts like that's some unforgivable sin? It's not like she's regularly repeating the offense. If she did actually lie, she's repented. Move on, children.

Especially when they defend the biggest lying scumbag pretty much ever in Trump, not to mention the Republican party is proving itself to be beneath contempt.

Right, I already addressed that. Forgive me if the details of her lying about her heritage escaped me.

Also, as I stated, I just don’t believe the progressive vision can work in America in 2018.

Look at my home state of ny. How many wealthy people have left ny in the last decade? If ny wasn’t the center of the world, the number would be even higher.

What buisiness owner would stay in a place that taxes the 70% (and that’s lower than what some propose)?

It’s her politics that make me dismiss her entirely.

Having legit differences about policy is not a reason for unbridled hatred for a person unless you are an angry moron.

honestly Rick Scott won in Florida because at that time Florida's economy was booming at a better pace than a lot of the rest of the country. Everyone hates him but figured "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" also Charlie Crist had some minor controversy that affected him throughout everywhere but south Florida about the being gay thing, or rumors there of. Outside of South Florida it's pretty Evangelical and Baptist so things like that are still issues.

that's fine, then you should put your weight behind that instead of the lazy "Pocahontas" stuff. I for one would have more respect and interest in discussing things with you if you went after actual policy and I think I'm not the only one. It's similar to when I slammed another poster on here for attacking the Parkland kids, instead of actually pointing out things they have wrong or opinions he disagreed with he just resorted to conspiracy and memes, it reeks of laziness and honestly a level of parroting views from others. I like to take the piss out of people as much as the next person but I also prefer to have constructive and informative discussions.

This is another great post, but I hope you see the lesson here. That's how right-wingers are conditioned to think of her. Mention Warren, and the response is, "oh that Senator who pretended to be a Native American to get all kinds of benefits." If she runs for president in 2020, a lot of supporters of her top rivals in the primary will also repeat that bullshit.

Interesting, it’s been forever since I thought about Charlie Crist, I don’t recall him even being gay (not that I’d care). Was that a local “whisper campaign” kind of thing?

She not worth discussing truthfully (to jacks point, she’s a tainted product. Unfortunately for her, that stigma stuck). I doubt she will make a serious run for President. Her time has passed me thinks.
