Elite kick boxer does not translate to elite striker in mma(k1 level striking myth)

People always fantasize how elite kickboxer and k1 champ would destroy elite mma fighter in a stand up or “k1 level striking” fight but that’s far from truth.in fact we already know that elite kickboxer doesn’t always do well on feet in mma fight,the best example are pat Barry,Cro Cop,siver,joe schilling.

Siver ans Pat Barry: they’re well known so I don’t really need to explain it.
Cro Cop: K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 Final Champion K-1 World Grand Prix 2000 in Fukuoka Runner-upK-1 Braves '99 3rd Place K-1 World Grand Prix 1999 Runner-up. but loss to every good hw mma striker like Gonzaga,mir,Schaub,Kongo,Nelson,mark hunt,fedor and jds

There are a lot of great reason/factors on why kickboxer striking dont translate well in mma,like takedown threat,clinch,and the most important one is glove size and footwork.kickboxer doesn’t have much footwork and head movement.they always rely on the big glove to turtle up and blocks most of the incoming strikes.but with smaller glove,you can’t do that.you have to use your footwork and head movements to avoid strikes.

Cro cop is one of the all time greats and did just fine in mma. Jesus sherdog.
 
Boxers would dominate though. Lomachenko would run through MMA

He did fine against grappler And lhw brawlers but not against good-decent hw strikers(mark hunt,Gonzaga,mir,Kongo,Schaub,fedor and jds)

MMA has B level athletes. Kickboxing is a great sport with F level athletes except from the Netherlands and Thailand. Just 2 small countries providing good athletes, it's not enough. It's a fringe sport of fringe sports and the results reflect that.

You know that A-Level, B-Level talk is bullshit right? The amount of NFL players who could make it to the top level of MMA ranks would fall just about in line with the general population of the planet. Maybe a slightly higher success rate. There's little to no correlation

I would point out again that your confidence in your knowledge of MMA seems badly misplaced.
 
CroCop was an elite kickboxer, and he had an elite mma career.

Obviously the sports have differences and success in one doesn't immediately translate to success in the other.
