There were thousands of people breaching a government building and security doesn't know if all members of the house have been evacuated or are safe. They don't know if the people breaching the doors are armed or not, and standard procedure is to assume they are.

This isn't as simple and inconsequential of a forced entry as you think. This is a major event that will be remembered for a long time. You are just here trying to get a rise out of people.
