It's far less well known, but here in Portland there were protests a few years back that actually stormed our City Hall. It was pretty horrifying. Way, way more so than the mostly impotent rage directed at the courthouse last year. I feel the same way about this; watching a bunch of asshats break down the door to a Macy's and steal clothes off the rack can't compare (to me) in terms of how disturbing it is to see the actual, literal disruption of our democratic system.
