Hmmm. You say he was "not able to take down Reyes or Santos". That's just false. He did take down Reyes a couple times, and controlled him for a couple minutes. And Reyes had really good takedown defense, he's strong and athletic and has a weirdly proportioned body with short legs and a crazy long torso that makes him tough to get leverage on. He had something like 90% takedown defense in his career going into the fight with Jones. From what I've seen, Reyes appears to have much better takedown defense than Gane (although we really haven't seen Gane in many wrestling situations other than the Ngannou fight).

In the Santos fight, I don't believe Jon attempted a single takedown? So again, saying he "was not able to take down Santos" is just a baseless comment.

Either way, I'm not 100% convinced that he'll be able to effectively grapple Gane. We really have no idea how Jon will look up at HW after 3 years out of the game. But what we do know, is that a wrestling heavy gameplan is definitely his best path to victory here.

If he is indeed a psychopath (he's either a sociopath or psychopath), then this means he literally doesn't give a shit about his daughters, and instead sees them as tools/assets. That in itself is scary as fuck.

I still think Gane will win but just because Jon might be years away from his best days. But honestly, the footage I’ve seen from Gane’s training camp would concern me if I were to bet on the fight. It’s a joke compared to Jones.

As far as Jones wresslin, it’s being pretty overrated right now while Gane’s tdd is being underrated because of the Ngannou fight. People will be surprised imo.
