I think Edwards will be a top 10 fighters for a few years, but I really don't see how he has much for Cerrone.
Yes, he has nice striking, but isn't very overwhelming and doesn't have a lot of power (unless you're Seth Baczynski) and doesn't have very good grappling (he beat my boy, Tumenov. Who has... questionable grappling skills).
He looked alright against Sobotta, he landed some nice strikes (as did Sobotta) and couldn't really do anything until Sobotta was very tired, even on the feet - where he was supposed to have a big advantage - he couldn't really make Sobotta be discouraged - or even hurt him.
I know Cerrone has aged, and although he lost to Till pretty badly, but I believe that was due to Till's huge size advantage and overwhelming game-plan and he made Cerrone hesitate and got put out for it. I don't think Edwards can do that.
I don't know who will be favorite/underdog in this fight; however, I think it may be good to bet on Cerrone?
