I would think deadlifts, squats, and farmers walks would best serve someone for that. Because it's not really a row movement as much as it's a full body pulling movement. You would want a strong back, core, legs and grip.
Basic powerlifting and bodybuilding stuff. If you watch the competitors, they become rigid and lock their arm In place with their lat, allowing them to use their bodyweight against their opponents arm.
Go on Youtube and type in guys like Devon Larratt, Janis Amolins into the search bar.
They work the arms in a much different way than classical bodybuilding and weight lifting. There is a lot of emphasis on hand strength, pronation and supination.
They mostly use curls for long....heavy...static holds at the top of the movement.(These will fuck you up compared to classic reps...Get ready for your tendons to be on fire for the first couple months of training.)
