I do think that it increases the likeliness by a little bit, but I still don't think it's likely. Aldo is definitely far more dangerous in the first two rounds, but maybe Edgar can catch Aldo in an exchange, or maybe he can make Aldo gas out.

Edgar made a good point that he hasn't lost a round since the first Aldo fight, so he's definitely been making a note of starting faster.

He's not gonna be pushing anything for the first 3 rounds. Aldo is better and faster, Frankie has a cardio advantage that isnt gonna help early.

He started fast in their last fight are you blind? He just couldnt land shit because Aldo had defense and angles and Frankie was getting his face rammed by jabs

Aldo is most dangerous in the first 3 rounds. He's faster, stronger, and quicker. Edgar can come out guns blazing if he wants to, but it will be a short night for him and not in his favor.

i love frankie, in the creepiest sense possible, check my history, but he has to break habit of starting slow and getting going.

he clearly took rounds 4 and 5 in the first fight, and if he had a fire under his ass in the first two rounds, he would have had 50-45 x 3.

I like Frankie, but I can't see him beating Aldo. Could be wrong, but I don't see it in his cards. He claims that Aldo hasn't evolved since their last meeting, but where has Edgar evolved? I see this fight going the same way as their last encounter.

How can anyone disagree with this?

No matter where Aldo is at physically or mentally coming off the layoff and KO loss, we know Edgar has the cardio advantage. Even if its the most well prepared and motivated Aldo we've ever seen, the biggest advantage Edgar has is cardio.

Edgar dances away from the action a lot even when he's pushing the pace, so its a reasonable plan. He's constantly in and out.

Aldo is more dangerous in the first two rounds, I think it'd be a more intelligent strategy for him to wait until Aldo slows down. But who knows.
