Lol at rda being so wobbly, look at his foot against the cage as the knee comes in
It was a perfect punch to
get around Dos Anjos' guard.
He's always sort of thrown his
hooks that way, though. Reminded
me of his fight with Hansen.
Props to Dos Anjos. He almost did
nothing wrong outside of a split
second of not moving off center.
If it wasn't for Dos Anjos & his type
of fighting style, which is a come-
forward, high pressure, finishing
style- then getting "caught" like this
would've been far less likely.
I'm a bigger fan of the champions
who throw themselves in the fire
& assert their dominance over their
challengers; those who challenge
both their skill AND heart.
Hats off to both men.
Was sure Eddie was going to play it safe. Hug his way to victory.
Imagine my penor when he rocked RDA. Solid as a diamond, throbbing like a walrus having an epileptic seizure.
I swear if I attempted it in the moment I could've gone super saiyan.
His striking defense has been shit like that for a long time.
Thing is, he fought Benson, Cerrone and Pettis. The first only win fights by decision and don't really have good boxing, just ok. Cerrone has shit boxing, or had, he looked kinda good in his last fight. Pettis, well, you know. No power or anything in his shots.
That's why I think Conor would finish him before the fight goes to the ground.
Because I was salty after he did it to Pettis. Why? RDA is the better grappler.
I wouldn't pick Conor over either of them, they are too durable, bigger, more well rounded and much better on the ground.
He would have a chance at winning by TKO/KO but if he doens't get it done in round 1 I think he breaks in round 2 vs either of them.
I was just saying why he looked good against them. He still has a chin and defense problem, but those 3 don't really have what it takes to use it against him.
As far as those fights go, sure, those are all competitive fights, but I would pick Conor over Pettis and Cerrone. Cerrone doesn't win big fights, and Pettis has not looked good in a while.
