I haven't heard that. He was suspended for one year in 2004 but was back in 05 and kept competing until 09 and I can't find anything about him being banned at that time?

i misremembered. i thought he was banned from WSM for competing in other orgs. i remember guys weren't allowed to compete in WSM if they competed in IFSA. but it wasn't him, it was other guys like Koklayaev, Zydrunas and Vasyl Virastyuk who weren't allowed into WSM during those years.
