But they'd bill Diaz/McGregor II over it, and that's still just wrong.

In all honesty I'd like to see Eddie move down to FW.

This won't be boring, RDA isn't Pettis and Alvarez will be forced to fight.
 
Let me guess, they will put Conor/Diaz above the LW title fight.
 
After Eddie's perfomance against Pettis, he doesn't deserve a title shot.
 
Could be a great fight depending on which Eddie turns up. The boring hugging wrestler or the fighter. Does he want to wrestle or fight?

I actually love the idea of this fight.

Everyone is a god damn moron thinking Alvarez is boring. Yeah the Melendez Pettis fights were snoozers, but this 5 rounder against RDA has the potential to bring out the Eddie Alvarez that fought Michael Chandler.

true. but eddie knows what to do to score the necessary points to win. I see RDA winning the stand up when they're in striking distance, but eddie will close it, smother, clinch, push him up against the cage, pepper with short shots, and go for takedowns in the last minute of the round, much like the pettis fight.
 
Alavrez doesn't derseve a title shot.
He's boring. He won 2 controversial desiciosn in his last 2 fights, mainly by dry humping his opponent against teh cage.
Can't think of aleast deservign fighter than him at LW right now.

IF I was RDA I'd still want the Conor fight, simply because he'll make about 5 million. Along with the satisfaction of knocking McGregor out.
Nobody will pay to watch him fight Eddie.
 
Could be fun but hope it's not the main event.
 
Okay. RDA will outclass him though. Literally everything Alvarez does RDA is capable of doing and then some.
