Eddie is on other side of career and was a very good/ great fighter. Ironically I look at his UFC stint and he was very lucky to be in a position to fight RDA that ( coming off what I would call a few "so so" performances).That turned out to be his best fight of career and I give him 100% credit as he just overwhelmed Raphael in 1st round. He failed to make a defense and that elven made him look silly. I mean I bet mcgregor cause of the line and every single fighter was picking Alvarez (when I see that in a fight where the betting line is under 2-1..... I without thought will go the other way and I can't stand Conor).
After the whole Poirier chapter, I've found it hard what kind of label I can put on Eddie Alvarez.

Eddie is cool. Never top 5 or anything, but seems like a cool guy and his fights are usually exciting. I was never a huge fan because all of the anti-ufc crowd used to act like he was a world beater when he was outside of the UFC, and that shit was obnoxious.
