It is hard to complain about salaries when you are always so close to being cut. I think he was also pretty well paid considering his status in the division at largely irrelevant for most of his career.
 
I feel like he pretty much maximized his abilities. Tough guy with decent striking fundamentals and a solid ground game. Not spectacular at anything and didn't pack big power. He was never going to be much of a threat to top tier guys. He was a staple on the roster for a loooooooong time.

One thing you don't understand (one of millions, because you're one of the stupidest posters on this forum, which is already a low bar) is that I'm not a Mark Hunt defender. It's just that you posted about 5 fighter bashing threads in a row that all highlighted him. So when you earned your deserved criticism, that's just the thing you were bitching about. Trust me when I say i don't disagree with you about Mark Hunt, I disagree with you about everything, because it's the easiest way to be right about most things

If you died, your job will be replaced before your body is cold. The problem that you don't get is that employment, like every other thing in capitalism, is a fair exchange of work for price (actually more likely one that your employer is ripping you off of the most it can on price) but I think the reason you think you need to be grateful is because you think you bring no actual worth to your job, so you should be happy they took you.

And considering what little I know about you, you just might be right.
 
I got wobbled in my chair watching Ed take hit after hit on Saturday. My memory is a bit hazy but I always remember him being competent and very tough but not a standout in any way.

Better than ok. He made a long career out of a very limited skillset (for UFC level). The guys toughness and heart shined through. I'm happy for him and I hope he made some good financial decisions. I never thought the Ed Herman from TUF would have such a long career.

Danny Abbadi hahahaha, I remember when he was screaming in excitement that he was a UFC fighter because he had a fight in TUF, golden memories.

Maybe it's just a heuristic on my part, since he went out of his way to ping me a few times about any retired fighter that didn't sue the UFC, but honestly, I think I've only ever seen him fighter bash. Even when he's complimenting other fighters, it's a roundabout way to shit on people. And multiple times, he'd necro like 5+ year old threads to bash some more. We all make a jest or two aimed at some fighters, but that guy had an obsession, and I think it's frankly about time he's gone

I think he threw A punch, and all it did was wake Herman up to "oh yeah, I should probably crush this guy" and then he did it.

There's been a time or two I've been surprised at not getting a yellow myself. But Yrat surprised me many times whenever he only had one yellow card instead of two. (There was also a time he was already on double yellows and necroed a 10 year old thread to complain about Mark Hunt again, which I was surprised he wasn't banned for). Everyone had to see this one coming.
