That was looking like 1-way traffic through the first couple rounds. No way did I think that Van Steenis would recover his wind to have enough energy to get the finish.

I don't think I've ever seen a fighter look so gassed after 2 rounds and come back and win.

The way Eblen was looking past Van Stennis in the buildup, this was super satisfying.

Edwards vs Rosta gets next shot, I’m guessing. Will be interesting. I’m surprised Van Steenis never fought either of them.

At least that gives PFL something to work with as far as the division goes, but damn does it kill the Eblen hype though. Not that there had been much ever since the Impa fight I suppose, but still would've liked to see him in the UFC.

Doubt that happens now that he's no longer undefeated unless he reinvents himself and starts scoring KOs again, they've made it clear they don't want grinding wrestlers.

Costello might have saved the division. We were THAT close to Eblen vs Edwards 3.

Might be awhile before we see Eblen again. I think they should put him in the tournament vs Aaron Jeffery for a rebound.

Have Costello main event a PFL Europe card against the tournament winner. Knowing PFL however, they’ll just shelf him for a year.

Eblen is like Colby Covington without the shtick to make you at least care if he wins or loses.

Shades of Chael Sonnen get choked out in Round 5 against Anderson Silva when he was surely ahead on the judges' cards.

Eblen would have to take his training and the sport more seriously in the UFC. Someone like DDP would feast on him in the championship rounds. But that can happen when you fight guys like Edwards lesser brother repeatedly. Iron sharpens iron and good competition either raises you to the top or exposes you.

Didn't watch it, sounds insane.

Reminds me of Curran vs Straus 2.
The comeback vibe was similar to Biaggio Ali Walsh being subbed the other week, just seemed like one way traffic then a sudden momentum shift and boom submission baby, albeit Eblen/Van Steenis had a lot more on the line, PFL has had some big upsets recently

The mustache curse strikes again.

I wonder if PFL just cuts Eblen now. He probably has a hefty contract and is also boring as all fuck to watch.

I'm sure they wanted him to lose, he was pretty vocal on social media about them not giving him fights. Not as bad as Pico or Pitbull, but he gave them enough negative publicity that they're probably ready to wash their hands of him like they've been doing with most of the high pay Bellator fighters. I think they were probably hoping Corey lost too, but he threw a stick in their spokes.

DDP v Brunson

Happy he got choked out. Man had the audacity to talk down on Mouse who he beat after his prime. Elben didn't do half of what Mousasi acomplished.
