Question, has anyone ever trained here or know of it? is it legit? this place and a Seattle branch is the only places for full contact Karate that i can find in my area or close to.

The Dojo Operator Jon Campbell was (supposedly) awarded his fourth degree blackbelt by Yoshikazu Matsushima (who is legit) so I guess it's not a McDojo. Try asking shinkyoku - he's the top Kyokushin expert on Sherdog.

I have never trained there but reading this from the website gives me hope that it has the right mindset...

"Be prepared to workout and sweat. Although each person's needs will be taken into consideration, we design the classes to be rigorous and push you towards your physical and mental goals. Expect bruises and soreness. We fight full contact, using light pads for conditioning during training and practice functional self defense, if it doesn't work, we won't teach it."

yeah i asked before on this forum but moved away so never tried there now moved back and wanted to see if anyone went there and trained while i was away. i will go check it and i hope the same as most of the dojos here have light sparring which does not seem to help much for real fights or tournaments.
