In general, overall... which was better early 90s or late 90s?

Early nineties is closer to the eighties, so...

Early to mid. Grunge music and the grunge era was the defining years. FTW.

Fuck, it seems so long ago. I went to high school from 93-97. It's weird to talk about the 90s now as if it was so long ago.

Also, the best years of hip hop, IMO.
I agree with this as well.

90's rock is my favorite genre, but I still listen to pre and post 90s stuff all the time.

But my fondness of rap music pretty much died post 2000. Sure, here and there I hear a decent track but nothing compares to the prime days of Too $hort, Gang Starr, EPMD, NWA (and solo albums) etc.

Late 90s. Pro wrestling, PS1, nu metal, Jncos.

Was too young in the early 90’s to appreciate culture.

Late 90’s brought premium HBO shows to television, Sopranos and Oz, which were a nice change from all the bullshit reality shows that sprung up after the Hollywood writer strike.

Michael Jordan was still killing it. Elway went back to back. Roids made baseball exciting

A lot of music was just as trash as it is now, I blame Napster.

Getting girls was like diffusing a bomb compared to how it is now. You had to go up and open your mouth in front of her and her friends. None of this “what’s your IG?” nonsense, ain’t nobody tryna “Netflix and chill” in 1998. There was no friend zone. If you were hanging out with a girl she knew why because at some point you made it clear. You didn’t “like” one of her pics on FB like a homo an hope she noticed. You walked up and grabbed that ass.

Late 90s. Everyone was making dem ends and living that Gordan Gecko life style. The Heroin was the shit they talk about when they the dope back in the was better than today. Honda's were cool. Fat people knew their place and covered up in public.
