What is the earliest memory you can remember?

For me I remember vaguely playing in the living room when I was 4. My mom was cooking some soup and my sisters were watching tv. I was racing little toy cars and we were all in good spirits. Then there was a knock at the door. My mom answered the door and her smile disappeared. Her face was filled with shock and panic.

One of my uncles was at the door but he was being helped by his friends. He was bleeding from his back. Turns out he was shot in the back. They brought him inside and the ambulence was called. My mom was crying and I didn't understand what was going on. The strongest thing from the memory that sticks out was the smell of the soup and image of the blood flowing from my uncle's back.

I was watching this movie where in the opening scene there was a ball and a guy was walking down the stairs from the party, some guy walks up to him, tells him he needs to talk, pulls out a knife, the guy's girlfriend screams, he manages to disarm the assailant and bashes his brains, he then staggers back and points at a woman in the crowd while he's smoking a cigarette.

2 years old in Puerto Rico. My grandmother gave me a blue plastic rabbit filled with chocolates. We had to keep it in her freezer so the chocolate eggs wouldn't melt.

I also remember seeing lizards crawling up the walls outside her house.

I can remember the toilet In our house from when I was around 2 years old, there was a news paper cut out of a shark attack on the wall

My memory is awful but mostly I remember the bad stuff, funny that. One early incident I remember is my uncles would make me and my cousin fight each other when we were just little toddlers whilst they would sit there laughing their asses off and recorded it on tape.

He was being mugged outside his apartment. We lived close to each other. The area we lived in was pretty sketchy.

Not my earliest memory, but a distinct one; aged 2, as I sat with my legs crossed on a thick plastic mat, in the back garden of my nan's house, a brown/cream spider ran the length of my leg and eventually crawled up and onto my knee, I was in a state of disbelief, as I'm sure it was my first encounter with a spider after hearing stories about such things. Time slowed as it got from my leg, somehow, to my arm and finally to my hand, this is when my perception of time returned--it sat for a second on the back of my palm. I expected nothing, had a rudimentary thought that I had tamed it, which is when it BIT me and jumped off, disappearing before I had gathered what had occurred. I felt different, I felt a shock, a surge, like I was becoming Spiderman. That came to a halt when I ran into the house, told mom and she dismissed it.
For years, I was convinced the small mark/scar on my right hand was from the spider, it matches up with the same hand from the memory, but it doesn't make sense. I've no idea if I had the mark beforehand, but a scar doesn't form instantly and I have always had a high pain threshold, add being clumsy and it could have been on the palm for a long time and the spider brought attention to it.

Less than 1. I remember lying on my back in a crib and watching a baby mobile,with blue toys, and yellow stars. A few months later we moved overseas and my mum gave my baby stuff to my aunty who was expecting.

I asked my mum about it some years ago, and she pulled out some old pics from storage and everything was how i had described it.

From my memory, i couldn't tell what the blue toys were or that the yellow shapes were stars. But i knew the colours and pattern eg, blue, yellow, blue etc.
