EA UFC Bruce Lee Screenshot revealed

Wow. I wonder how Bruce Lee must feel about his descendants selling his image to the highest bidder like a piece of meat.

Pffft, please. If it got my family money after I passed away I'd say CGI my face into gay porn. Hell, sell my corpse to necros for all I care.

It's when you're alive and sell out that it's a problem. When you're dead.... literally no s#its are given...... literally.

your loss, there are plenty of good games worth playing out now.

not really, that arent also released on the previous generation

i bought a shit load of consoles at launch and over time time it gets worse and worse

first gba had no backlight and no games
wii didnt have motion plus and didnt have any games at launch (that werent also on gamecube), then kinect came out and made it obsolete (except for brawl)
DS was just n64 and novelty games until they came out with DS lite which was both better and cheaper

my xbox 360 that i got at launch came with very few games out and no harddrive. i was told memory card was sufficient. then i couldnt play online because the memory card couldnt hold updates.

not to mention the significant price cuts that come after the first year or so. i learned my lesson and am sitting out until they have a big library and worked out all the bugs

Even if I got this game for free I would toss it to the garbage bin because of the trash Bruce Lee. This guy did not have the balls to compete pro fights and that digusts me. Shame.

you sound like the biggest infested ringworm found inside a blue whales anus.
no its you who disgusts everyone else. how can anyone hate bruce fucking lee?

You sound old as f#ck but I agree :icon_lol:

Outside of some random standouts, games have stopped focusing on the right stuff. They worry SO MUCH about realism detail of the most worthless details... and forget to make great games.

I can still sit around and waste time on old mind-numbingly addictive games. But newer games work so hard on flash and not on substance that I can't pay attention. I've been terribly disappointed with Undisputed series. EA MMA was a step in the right direction (and for a first go), but then of course it fell through. So I'm left with MMAdden. Big on "Ooh, look, his individual hairs move." and short on proper simulation/arcade-quality of a fun game.

Bruce's hairstyle never looks old-fashioned.

Probably pretty good. Bruce foresaw hybrid fighting (he said that you could beat any martial artist in a real fight if you trained boxing for a year and wrestling for a year), and his life's goal was to make himself an icon. Obviously also of course, he loved his children.

He'd still whoop your ass any day and no you wouldn't. Hater.

Marshall Law from Tekken!?!?!

Damn I thought it was Bruce Lee

agreed man, and theyve seem to hit a wall with graphics anyways. like the difference between games on xbox 360 and xboxone isnt worth $500 like the difference between gameboy and gameboy advance and then to DS. or playstation to playstation 2, which was mindblowing.

sounds corny as fuck, but i feel like WWF no mercy on N64 was a lot more creative and good for its time than the UFC games they put out now. the create a character/career/story mode was so much more rewarding and in depth. where you had a whole storyline that changed depending on the outcome of matches. like if you fight x wrestlers enemy, y wrestler will be your tag team partner. and then that guy can be attacked backstage and you have to go help him etc. its actually roleplaying with player decision making

ufc undisputed career mode is minigame->fight->minigame->fight
except the one thats: repetitive sparring for max points->fight->repetitive sparring for max points->fight. then respect/disrespect opponents for rematches

i would prefer a whole roleplaying thing where theres an actual story of a fighter coming up the ranks. you start in a shitty apartment and then when you earn money from fights you can upgrade to a mansion and shit. or you start with an empty gym and you use your fight winnings to buy/upgrade equipment. as you make it better, you start getting randomly generated fighters and a whole fight team. then the way you play your career, other real ufc fighters may switch to your gym and increase your monthly income or whatever. i dont know, im not a game designer but theres a lot more to be done than repetitive minigames and menus

matters a lot more to me than "look how detailed his eyebrows are"

I feel like drinking a Johnnie Walker now.... Weird.

His descendants are doing their best to honour him I believe. The Walker ad was a great idea but the animation was terrible. Him in the UFC game, for me as a huge fan of his work, is pretty awesome.

Also, I believe the descendants didn

you know he was a movie star, even when he was alive, you could pay him to use his image however you want

you think he wouldve said no to being in a videogame for money?

No joke, just got EA MLB MVP 2005 on ebay YESTERDAY for $0.99 because I miss the quality games of yester-year. The 120-year dynasty and mix of arcade and simulation of that game, all perfect. The lack of real concern on looks and more interest in making sure mechanics and consistency worked. I was on year 53 of my Dynasty when I lost my old XBox due to random shut-down.

They should've given him the full game of death outfit

Why not

Maybe no long pants in MMA? They should have done an authentic Bruce Lee look with the long yellow pants or the black speedo w/puffy Enter the Dragon gloves + Pancrase shinguards especially considering the face doesn't look enough like Bruce Lee. It seems like a halfbaked flop.
