True but Al-Selwady has been finished 3 times in the first round, twice in 2019 alone so there was certainly reason to doubt him I suppose.

Tbf the hype for someone like Paddy was always absurd and based more on character and highlight than actual skills. Still don't think this was an especially bad showing fom Hardwick. Not like Jack Cartwright who got exposed big time.
