I’ll disagree . Even one of sherdog
Pbp gave lopes round one. They traded heavy shots on the feet and the armbar was deep .

Agree to disagree. Personally I don't give much to the sherdog pbp crew, I thought Brito landed the better shots on the feet, controlled Lopes and fought off the sub attempts quite well.

Even if the judges gave Lopes round one should we not have had a draw? Brito lost a point.

Pride glove was curved to prevent this

The UFC has owned a superior MMA product and everything related to it for the past 14 years and have never once done ANYTHING to bring over any of the good from Pride.

Not the judging (it wasn't perfect either but much more suited for MMA), not the gloves.

and I don't want to hear about freakshow fights, the UFC has employed CM punk.

Very bold of you to say. You know you be terrified if you saw this coming towards you in a dark alley....

The promotion announced Tuesday that it has hired former Legacy FC front man Mick Maynard as the vice president of talent relations.

Right. So win 2 rounds, then poke your opponent in the eye at the beginning of the 3rd for a quick TKO win. Makes perfect sense.
i mean if you think that would even be possible to reliably plan, then idk what to tell you. sounds a whole lot like “refs are illuminati” to me
