Side note: RDA vs Hooker seems like a no-brainer now, right? FEB 20th needs a main event, March probably has a few FN main event openings as well.

I don't think those leg kicks did half as much damage as people think they did. Khabib was compromised coming into the fight. I think that hindered him worse than anything Gaethje did.

They iced the leg. I’ve never seen Khabib’s corner ice his leg. Those kicks did damage. It didn’t affect the outcome of the fight, but his leg did get damaged.

Chandler isn't Khabib, in terms of durability and outright ability to pressure..

Khabib had to wade through a ton of punishment in order to eventually secure the takedown late in round 1.. in particular with the leg kicks.

I agree with you 100. Chandler is not going to keep Gaethje down. Taking gaethje down is a lot harder than khabib made it look.

Khabib said the leg kicks did damage, his corner said it did damage. Was it enough to stop the fight? No but anyone else getting those leg kicks would have reset. Khabib's just tough.

IDK if he could take five round of those leg kicks and still be able to pull off the offense he wanted to do
