Okay, I double-checked, and it looks like this news is coming from Rueben Carter, who’s got a reputation for spreading fake fight announcements.
So, take it with a grain of salt guys, it might be fake… but who knows

I'm only interested in seeing Covington fight Werdum. Fuck that little shit.

Who the fuck is Rueben Carter?

2 years ago I think Colby ragdolls him but I thought he looked washed against Leon. Looked slow and weak

It looks like top 10 of ww spells bad night for Colby. So not surprised he takes on a lw. As long as he doesnt get title shot of this Im fine with it.

So are we all hoping Colby is washed up enough for Dustin to beat him. Not a good bet id say lol

Ppl acting as if Colby isn't a small WW. Pathetic how many sherdoggers have Colby living rent free in their heads

oh well, more ex-gym bros drama

EDIT: Forgot to say out front... think this is fake news
This is going to be a fun buildup... with lots of butthurt when Colby dominates, as he tends to in these grudge match situations.
Him winning a UD against Jorge was 100% related to Jorge's skillset, and 0% related to whether or not it was a "grudge match". Disliking someone personally doesn't magically turn off your TDD.

Glad to hear he's such a small WW. Then it should be easy for him to drop to LW for such a fight, so if Colby actually got his first relevant win in the last half decade it'd be in a division where that win would actually have some value?

I haven’t fact-checked this myself, so I’m not sure if it’s true, but if it is, that would be a fun buildup to the fight:

If Colby loses this, it’s time for everyone to bury the hachet, he used up every drop of juice to remain relevant.

Dustin Poirier is not a mediocre journeyman like Jorge Masvidal.

Is he though? I keep hearing Shedoggers says Covington is a small WW. Poirier isn't a small LW himself. I don't think the size difference will be massive tbh.
Dustin was fighting at FW until 25 yo, never missed weight at LW, and was able to fight on short notice (3 months btw last two fights), while Covington never fought at LW and was wrestling at 165-174 since senior high school

I suspect that it might be a 5rd fight. Sometimes UFC does 5rd fights for non main event matchups if both fighters request it.

If Dustin wins I do think he'll retire inside the cage after the fight. It's the right time to hang it all u up for him. Jolie wants him to call it a day.

For some reason I was happier when I didn't know Dustins wife's name was Jolie, all I can hear is that arrogant Irish cunt saying it over and over.

More I think about it.....more I think Dustin will tell UFC he wants it to be 5rds.
So.... Jones vs Miocic as the 5rds main and Poirier vs Colby as 5rds co-main. At worse it'll be 3rd to last fight (maybe UFC have another title fight as the co-main for MSG).

It'll be at 170 lbs, so Dustin doesn't have to cut down to 156lbs for this, he can eat and fuel right, good cardio, he'll look pretty thick and solid at 171lbs and I think this will definitely be his swansong.

Hope he is victorious..... I know he would not wanna retire on a fight losing streak.
