That would be Rafael dos Anjos. It sucks that fight never happened.I wish someone would fight Conrad with that prime Weidman-like pressure. He was able to smother his opponents with pressure without leaving is chin exposed. I'm talking his early days like he did against Anderson & Machida.
He's at American Top Team, trust me Poirier has a very high fight IQ, he'll be doing exactly what his coaches tell him. They are prepared for Conor. Conor is pretty much a very one dimensional fighter, right hand knock out. That's a terrible plan. Going up against Conor in all out firefight in the first round is exactly what Conor wants.
Hey, I doubt it.He's at American Top Team, trust me Poirier has a very high fight IQ, he'll be doing exactly what his coaches tell him. They are prepared for Conor. Conor is pretty much a very one dimensional fighter, right hand knock out.
Poirier will win this one.
A lot of fighters/trainers have said that about Conor in the past. It's much different when he's actually in front of them. Having a timing advantage usually makes the difference regardless if you know what moves are coming. Look at Ryan Garcia in boxing, all he uses is a jab, a straight cross, and a left hook for the most part. It's the timing that beats everyone regardless of the limited moves being used in the fight. He's at American Top Team, trust me Poirier has a very high fight IQ, he'll be doing exactly what his coaches tell him. They are prepared for Conor. Conor is pretty much a very one dimensional fighter, right hand knock out.

Theo Von and The Diamond...
I’ll give it a watch.
