Here's a new Mollywhoppery video on Dustin about the last part of his journey (vid just dropped). It's a tear jerker for me knowing we might not see him fight again, unfortunately time passes us all by. Anyway, it's a really well done piece for people who are interested, cheers.

I think my thread about Poirier being the best striker in Lw history from three years ago aged very well. TONS of people disagreed, but look at him now, hard to argue against it.

He had a hell of a career. As a striker predominantly in a division that was and is dominated by wrestlers. Respect.

He's had a great career.

More importantly though, he's successful in business, health is intact, great family and he's a good person outside of the cage.

No reason to hang his head low. Future Hall of Famer!

He also gave us this gem...

It’s been a pleasure watching Dustin grow as a person more than anything. He was once a very easily riled hot head, who no one really liked. Somewhere a long the line he started to figure things out and it showed in his performances

That's the best gift ever imo that Dustin could've given us. Lmao

The guy has been a mainstay in the Top 5 at LW. He has done everything right and fate made it so that his prime years coincided with the rise of three of the most skilled and dangerous LWs in history and only they kept him from the title.

He's got a hall of fame resume, better than many Champions, and has several classic fights under his belt.

Plus, any guy that goes from looking like this:

Is a winner in life.

He just matured as a man.
And did it in the public eye.

His humility in handling defeat is really quite a breath of fresh air.
