Why do you hate Poirier so much? Beat one of favorite fighters? I know I can dislike a fighter for beating my favorite fighter from time to time. But your hate feels pretty deep.

Paddy is #12. He's fine. So are Dariush, Moicano, and Fiziev who are top 10ish.

He's 36 and has already lost 3 title fights. Yes he should be gate keeping the next generation. If he thinks he's too good for that, despite doing that himself his career, he can doubly fuck right off.

I wish the sport went the way it used too but it doesnt. There are guys 10x less accomplished then Dustin turning down fights. If this was the old days he'll yeah have him fight whoever is up next. Since it's not why should he. He has done enough if those are the new wwe ufc rules.

Yes I absolutely hate Dustin for pointing out he's 36, has already lost 3 title fights, and should be gate keeping at this point.

Honestly think y'all are the ones who might hate him seeing as you seem to want him to fight a top 5 fighter instead. You guys want to see Charles choke him out again or something?

This is the real reason. Same with why he doesn't want Beneil, Gamrot (I know they trained together), or even Moicano. All grappling threats he'd rather not deal with.

If you want to just go box someone then go rematch Eddie in BKFC or something.

He can turn down fights until he's even older for all I care.

He's an old LW who ain't ever getting a title. His only value now is gate keeping and/or entertainment. He needs to accept that.

Thought he'd already done that last June but guess a year off deluded him into thinking he deserves one last chance after he'd already been gifted his Rocky moment.

Hmmm okay, fair enough.
I just want to see him put on one more good performance against someone that will engage him in much the same way. I definitely don’t want to see him grapple fucked to end his career. That I will admit lol.

Have him fight Turner or Fiziev then. Moicano would probably also mostly strike with him, though would obviously be more than happy to grapple too.

He's already fought everyone at LW. He could fight Arman, but Arman's not that big of a name, or since it's a retirement fight and he's not trying to climb any ladder, he could make it at WW and fight Colby, but I'd imagine he'd want another striker.
 
Paddy is a bigger name than Dustin and his ego tripping entitled self... :rolleyes:
 
Damn people disrespecting a guy like Dustin Poirier. Dustin has had a great run in the UFC. He is still in the top 10 and is looking to pick his retirement fight. Of all the fights you should hand pick, this is the one.

HIs performances against Khabib, Charles and especially Islam were all worthy performances.

Yes he's talked about retirement fights many times now but who hasn't?
