Just because you're in a title fight one moment, doesn't mean you're guaranteed to be fighting in big fights non-stop. Jessica Eye went from fighting for the belt to fighting on the early prelims in her next fight.

At LW, there's a lot of good guys chomping at the bit to crack into that top 5. You never know if the UFC are going to give some of them a big push over someone like Dustin, who lost his title shot, and didn't really look like he could ever do any better against the current champ.

I wish I can say I knew my hotwife since grade school. That's an awesome story he has.

His wife is a trooper too. Gave up her career, dropped out of college to help Dustin pursue his fight career.

Dustin didn't even graduate HS. She was ALL IN.

Dustin "Peahead" Poirier. Lived up to it by getting knocked out in the foist round. If ever there is a second encounter, I predict Conor in tirty seconds.

Right!? I started respecting after the first alvarez match. He really stepped up and he was so chill after the fight. Prior to that, to me, he was just another conor victim. Another reason for that prick to brag. I didn't respect him. But he proved to be much much more than that. The only thing is change is the brawling. I'd like him to do away with it and come in holloway vs poirier 2 focused for all his fights. Guy's a monster when he is on.

I was shocked at how much punishment he could take, never knew he had it in him. Then when he beat Max I was like okay, this guy is a problem. Then the way he handled himself before, during and after the Khabib fight made me an even bigger fan. He may just be the best LW outside of Khabib although I think Conor could still be a problem for him. I was never one to call for that rematch but now that matchup excites me.

Oh and I forgot about the Gaethje fight, I had Gaethje knocking him out, LoL.

I had him knocking gaethje out tbh. Saw it and I was glad I called it. I wasn't on sherdog though. And yeah he handles himself like a decent human being. As for the conor match... He would have to dig down inside and just go in there. I'd favour conor but I'd root for Dustin.
