Dustin got greedy and will pay for it

Lol the canor trolls are out again! Love it!
They were truly unbearable.

However, post KO, and the practical end of an era, it feels almost nostalgic to read this sort of shit posting.

It doesn´t matter if Dustin throws them calf kicks, it´s all about who´s mentally stronger.

Dustin has more in his bag than Conor has, but if Conor lands his fists it´s over.

Dustin by UD.
Conor landed his fists in the previous fight though

A fight against Conor is the biggest payday in MMA and arguably combat sports (tho his stock has taken a hit recently). Dustin couldve easily fought Charles and you know the UFC would fast track Conor to a title shot with Dustin eventually if he became champ. Why not get it done soon?

You get in the fight game for money, nothing more. A fighter should try to hold on to that hunger for as long as possible, once you lose it... that's it. Dustin is still hungry, Mcgregor not so much. Dustin via round 1 KO.

This. It takes a different kind of mentality to be a prize fighter. Id argue even a fighter with a significant injury (like what Conor had against Max) altho not like the worst injuries, is more dangerous than a fighter who has lost the hunger that made them great. You could even see Conor trying to bring out some of the talk and mannerisms from his meteoric rise but it was so forced. HE just doesnt have IT anymore and even if he did i dont see any version of Conor beating current Dustin

This is a hilarious cash grab from people that don't know any better. They probably wrote conditions in to the contracts for the fourth and fifth fights.
In that case, why don't we all just go ahead and watch WWE.

Actually a very good point. I think it’s very likely had Dustin fought for the championship and won, they would have fed Conor to him immediately and shoved the trilogy thing down our throats

The worst thing about Conor fans is they all talk like they are doing a cheap imitation of Conor (who talks like he is doing a cheap imitation of Floyd/Ali)

But he was so mentally weak his fists did fookin nuttin
Mental strength or not, he landed his best on Dustin, and did fookin nootin.
The same shots he landed were no different than what he landed on Eddie, maybe even more powerful as e has packed on more muscle.

This is the same guy who said he wanted to fight Diego Sanchez.
Conor said his plan was to have 4 fights in a year. KO Cowboy, KO Homer, then have easy fight against Diego who he has history with and then rematch kebab by the end of the year. Pathetic haters make it sound like only fight he wanted was Diego.

He shoul've walked away with money and 1-1 fluke win in perfect circumstances (long layoff for McGregor) record with GOAT. Now he got greedy and will be KO'd. Only question is will McGregor prolonge this fight on purpose to showcase the difference in skill levels? Or will he start throwing punches with bad intentions from the start? McGregor blocks kicks this time. He also have the advantage on feet and is better wrestler

History with Diego? No one who truly cares about legacy knowingly takes "easy fights" , especially against fighters who are nearly unanimously agreed upon as being well past their prime.

What would KOing a brainwashed, over the hill Diego Sanchez do for Connor's legacy but further tarnish it? Dana laughed at the very idea and even doubted such a matchup could get sanctioned.

Im not a Connor hater. I think hes an exciting, skilled fighter. However, the idea that he epitomizes some ideal of fighting legacy makes a mockery of the those fighters who really do embody that ideal, who really do stay active, who really do defend their belt, who really do continually look to fight the best, who really do reprsent themselves well in and outside the ring.

Quit it. I hate that argument, as if he would wreck everyone if he really felt like it. He is a talented fighter with an 8 minute gas tank. If his opponent (Poirier in this case) can make him go hard in that 8 minutes and not get KO'd (Diaz, Khabib, Poirier), then he's screwed. If they can't put pressure on him in that 8, Conor is going to win. But don't say it is because he just doesn't feel like it.

Comparing Diaz or Khabib, Conor has not that kind of gas tank. But i'm pretty sure Conor really wants to win, even on "gas tank" level. Conor is talented enough to prepare for this. For Conor, a matter of will is a big issue. Like i said, the money spoiled him, it changed his mindset. He can train what he want, but if the mindset isn't there, he won't win.

Jokes aside. Conor will make adjustments. He nearly KO’d dustin in the first round. I think conor wins this one

I’m sure he’ll be bummed if he loses. The paycheck will ease his suffering, however.
