During the USADA Era, fighters were regularly getting popped for using PEDs. Now, it seems to never happen.

Azamat Murzakhanov and a few others like khalil have popped recently, but the number of fighters popping did decrease. I think fighters are just smarter about not getting caught now, they know how to cycle it out of their system

I think Crocop also came forward and told the UFC/USADA that he took something prohibited (HGH?) for his shoulder injury and they threw him under the bus. Then his tests came back negative lol

Machida was banned 18 months for DHEA. I’m not sure if he came forward with it or if it showed in a test and he was like ”yup!”

The athletes aren’t any cleaner than during USADA era. The absence of flagged tests and busted athletes says a lot

Machida came forward in a January because he saw it was added (less than a month) to the banned substance list.

Someone should crunch the numbers and see if knock outs happened more often before or after the usàda era

They seem like a pretty legit anti-doping agency to me. I mean if the Olympics isn't the greatest display of completely natural athletes I don't know what is.

What does this mean? Is PED use once again in full swing?

Definitely not full swing as it was in Pride or the UFC "TRT" era allowing full injectable usage, but much better than the arbitrary, extortionist policies of USADA.

The current policy is much more fair allowing for a therapeutic level of use that should be criminal to deny given the unavoidable, dangerous physical demands of training and competing in this sport.
